East Sac

Sellands - Great Pizza, salads, sandwiches, burgers, hot and cold cases as well. Something for everybody!

Nopalitos - Southwest café serving breakfast and lunch homemade goodness. Everything from muffins to salads, tacos, burritos and so much more. They also own Orphan and if you're a pancake person you must try!

Hana Tsubaki - Traditional Japanese cuisine and super fresh sushi. The Salmon dinner is probably the best tasting and best deal in town, my go to. The serving is generous, the skin is crisp and the fish is flaky and tender.

Hawks - California cuisine and the menu changes with the seasons. Not only is the food outstanding but so is the service. Cocktails rival anyplace in town, many mixers are made from scratch on the premises. The house made pate's are so yummy and the deviled eggs are always a go too. Pasta's, chicken, fish and although the burger looks so simple...trust me its delightful!

Kru - This is not your ordinary sushi spot! They step out of the box with so much creativity. Sushi is the star here but don't overlook the kitchen items or you'll be missing out! my fav's here are the sunshine roll, house made gyoza, lobster tempura and duck kushiyaki.

Canon - Super creative menu utilizing fresh ingredients. The menu is set up to be more family style, with several small plate choices  to begin with and a couple large options for the main course choices. The restaurant itself id beautiful, but I will say very loud. Our favorite spot is on the patio, its large, covered and a lovely spot.

Mid Town Sac

Cantina alley - Truly in an alley and open air...but don't shy away in the winter, there is plenty of heat to keep you comfy. The gig here is "Mexican street food" and they don't disappoint. I LOVE their al pastor tacos, tostada ceviche and taquitos. Don't think you can go wrong with anything though.

58 Degrees and Holding - Wine bar and food...two of my favorite things! You can get taste size, full glass or flight tastings. They serve brunch on the weekends, and small bites and full size meals for lunch and dinner the other times. Great outdoor seating for the warmer months.

Aiolo - Spanish Tapas are amazing, huge menu will accommodate everyone. Cozy space, and Gigi will make you feel like you're eating in his dining room.

They have the best linguica I've ever had comes with white beans and chard. Lamb is also delish, honestly I've never had anything I didn't like here!

Paesanos - Casual family friendly spot serving pizza, pasta and salads. Friendly staff and consistently good food. my fav's are the fig and prosciutto pizza or the baked pasta.

Plan B Café - This is a local couple showcasing his french culinary skills and always using local ingredients whenever possible. Mussels and pomme frites are to die for, I usually opt for the coconut or the nantaise. Duck confit is so yummy and the branzino is a beautiful choice for light fare.

Waterboy - Can I say I've never had a bad meal here....the menus changes with the season and the fish specials are always outstanding. My husband and I have an xmas eve tradition to do bubbles and burgers here for lunch...our calm before the storm. I wouldn't do the burger at night only because there are so many fantastic options, but with bubbles at lunch it's perfect!
